Charity auction season again
Since my brother joined his local Masonic Lodge a few years ago, I've been pitching in with a few donations each year for their annual auction. This year I kept up the tradition with four pairs of simple drop earrings.
I still have a small stash of Swarovski crystal bicones and rondelles and since these can no longer be purchased to make into jewelry, I thought they might have some appeal.
From the top left: (1) Freshwater pearls and Swarovski crystal bicones, on sterling silver headpins, suspended from handmade sterling silver ear wires. (2) Amber Swarovski rondelles and opaque bicones on sterling silver headpins suspended from handmade sterling silver ear wires. (3) Freshwater pearls and Swarovski rondelles, on sterling silver headpins, suspended from safety ear wires. (4) Two sizes and colors of Swarovski rondelles on sterling silver headpins suspended from handmade sterling silver ear wires.
Together they raised $180 in auction donations. Knowing the worthy causes the Masons support throughout the year, I couldn't be more pleased.
